What is dehydrated food? Dehydrated foods are normal, fresh foods with their moisture content removed. We commercially dehydrate our foods by removing up to 98% of their original moisture content. This process is completed with our state-of-the-art, technology to insure the highest possible nutritional content and quality of all food storage products.

How quickly can I get my order and how is it shipped? All cash and credit card orders are processed within 24 hours of their receipt. We are currently able to ship your order within 2 to 4 weeks. Orders are shipped using UPS and the best Freight Companies for your location.

How much storage space do I need? One of the most significant advantages that dehydrated food provides is the space and weight reduction. By removing the moisture content of the food, the space is reduced by 80% and the weight by 90%. You can fit a year's supply for two adults in the space a normal refrigerator takes up.

Do I have to store the food somewhere special? You should store your food in a cool, dry place. It does not need to be refrigerated, but heat can damage the quality of your food. Do not store your food in your attic, garage, metal storage shed or anywhere that will subject your food to temperatures exceeding 80 degrees Fahrenheit for extended periods of time.

How long will the food last? Our dehydrated foods will be there when you need them. One of our distributors regularly says our foods store for 20+ years. While it is true that we have personally tasted some of the foods that were over 20 years old, which were fine, we normally suggest customers rotate their food around the 15 year mark, preferring to be on the conservative side. Much of the food's storage life will depend on your storing it in as cool a place as possible.

What's the shelf life of an opened can? Even after a can has been opened, if you keep the supplied plastic lid on the can, its shelf life can range between 6 and 18 months.

Does the food need to be cooked? At least 95% of your year's supply package can be consumed by simply adding water. The vast majority of the foods do not need to be cooked to be edible.

What's the nutritional value of the food? We dehydrate all of our food in its raw state. It is all as close to fresh as possible and still provides an extremely long shelf life. Due to our technology, the highest possible nutritional value is maintained in all or our products.

What is the meat substitute, TVP? TVP stands for Textured Vegetable Protein. TVP is made from soy proteins. There is a more complete composite of amino acids in TVP compared to real meat which allows your body to assimilate a higher percentage of protein. You also avoid the fat and cholesterol problems associated with real meats. They taste excellent, in fact you would have a hard time distinguishing TVP from real meats. Our TVP is also endorsed by many vegetarian organizations as an excellent substitute for meat.
